My Many Colored Days

One of my favorite books as a child was My Many Colored Days, by Dr. Suess. I think I liked it because the book really described how people feel but with colors. If the main character felt sad, for instance, he or she would turn into a lonely purple dinosaur. Or if the main character felt rush, he or she would turn into a black and yellow busy bee. The way Dr. Seuss wrote this book made me believe that I would actually change colors too. It was comforting.
