I have never experienced such sadness in my life.
My heart is aching
Tears are forming
But I cannot expressing my everlasting sadness
Not now.
Guatemala. A place I never thought I would connect with. A place that everyone seems to dismiss right as the name of the country is mentioned. A place I feel at peace in, despite the extreme poverty I have witnessed and experienced.
If only I could speak Spanish.
And I am going home tomorrow.
I am torn. Split in between. God watch over these people. And I pray that I can soon return to see them again.
