Around 1933, Hitler took over Germany, causing one of the world's most tragic events. The thing that reminds us the most about World War II was the Nazi symbol, or the swastika. Hitler chose this symbol to put on his army because it means national reincarnation.
This is a negative symbol because it reminds people of the Holocaust, or the time when Hitler killed many innocent people. It's hard to escape this signal because throughout our years in school, we talk about the Holocaust, World War II, Pearl Harbor, and Franklin Roosevelt. It's always there; a constant reminder of what happened 74 years ago.
